Tasty Bites

  • 2 cups chicken broth (de pollo)
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 3-4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 3-4 garlic cloves minced
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 3-4 cans tuna (depending on how much you want)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (plus more if you want it a little more creamy)
  • can of peas
  • 1 cup  cheddar cheese-freshly shredded
  • 1 cup jack cheese-your choice-freshly shreded
  • crushed crackers (ritz is my go-to but always trying others)
  •  grated Parmesan cheese plus more for sprinkling ( i do a 1:1 crackes/parm)
  •  olive oil 
  • fresh cracked black pepp
  • fresh cracked salt

Instructions 

1. Preboil the egg noodles and preheat oven to 400

2. Add butter to dutch oven and soften the onion up. give it a few cranks of salt and 20-30 of pepper.

3. Add Garlic for a few

4. add flour and mix

5. add your cream and broth and let it simmer until it's thickened up. crack some more pepp-to your own taste.

6. add all the tuna and cheese and stir gently until its heated up

7. add peas but only stir softly and just enough to mix it well or else you'll smash the peas 

8. Mix together crackers and parm with a little oil (do enough to cover the top of your dutch.

9. Bake for 20-25 until crackers/parm is golden brown.
